Krill Meat Pizza

Krill Meat Pizza
Did you imagine and immediately remember the very fragrant pizza that your mother cooked? Me too. Whatever one may say, you don’t need a reason for pizza. Plus, if you took my advice and ended up grabbing a jar of canned krill from the supermarket, I have a great recipe for you. By the way, don’t rush to run for ready-made dough, we’ll prepare it ourselves, I promise it won’t be difficult.

For the dough:
  • 300 g flour
  • 200 ml kefir
  • 4 tbsp. l. sunflower oil
  • ½ tsp. Sahara
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. baking powder

For the sauce:

  • 200 ml cream 15%
  • 100 g hard cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tbsp. l. flour
  • 1 can Aquamarine krill meat
  • salt and pepper to taste

For filling:

  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 sprigs basil
  • 50 g hard cheese
  1. Let's get started: you need to prepare all the ingredients for the pizza and immediately turn on the oven at 180 or 230 degrees. If you can’t stand it, of course, set it to 230 degrees, the pizza will cook faster.
  2. Now the promised light pizza dough: take a bowl and mix 300 g of flour, 200 ml of kefir, ½ tsp. sugar, ½ tsp. salt and ½ tsp. Baking powder, then add 4 tbsp. sunflower oil. Stir and knead the dough well. You can use a food processor. I do it by hand, there is some kind of magic in it.
  3. Grate 100 g of hard cheese. Choose whichever one you like best.
  4. Let's move on to the sauce. Add 30 g of butter to the saucepan and heat it up, then add 2 cloves of garlic. As soon as the latter warms up and gives off all its aroma, remove it. Add 1 tbsp. flour and immediately start stirring with a spatula for 1 minute, and then add 200 ml. cream. The cheese is already grated, so just put it in a saucepan and, of course, the main ingredient is krill meat. Mix everything, the cheese should dissolve and the sauce should thicken a little.
  5. Let's get to the fun part: roll out the dough to 3mm thickness. I like the round shape, but you are free to experiment, the main condition is that the shape fits on the baking sheet. Spread the sauce with krill meat, cut 8 pieces in half. cherry tomatoes and place cut side down on pizza. Rub 50 g of cheese on top. Ready! Place in the oven for 10 minutes if the temperature is 230 degrees or for 20 minutes if the temperature is set at 180.
  6. Place leaves and 2 sprigs of basil on top. You can also add arugula.
