Krill and Vegetable Stir Fry


  • 8 oz of krill meat, drained
  • 2 cups of mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, onions, carrots, and broccoli)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions, chopped (optional)


  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and corn starch. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the krill meat and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until cooked through.
  3. Remove the krill meat from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add more oil if necessary and stir-fry the garlic, ginger and vegetables for 3-4 minutes, until they are crisp-tender.
  5. Add the krill meat back to the skillet and stir in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  7. Serve the stir fry over rice or noodles and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, if desired.
