Krill and Avocado Salad


  • 8 oz of krill meat, drained
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 cups of mixed greens (such as lettuce, spinach, and arugula)
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Crushed tortilla chips (optional)


  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and peel the skin. Cut the avocado into small cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Toss to combine.
  4. Add the krill meat and avocado cubes to the salad and gently toss to combine.
  5. Serve the salad on plates or bowls and top with crushed tortilla chips, if desired.
